Oikivo
Terms of Service
These draft pilot terms describe permitted use of Oikivo and the responsibilities of service businesses and property owners.
The service
Oikivo is a documentation and workflow platform. It is not an accounting, payment, legal, engineering, inspection or certification service.
Eligibility and authority
Users must be legally able to accept these Terms and must have authority to act for the organization or property context they use.
Accounts and security
Users must provide accurate information, protect account access, promptly report suspected compromise and keep team roles current.
Service-business responsibilities
Service businesses remain responsible for their work, licences, legal compliance, customer permissions, report accuracy, warranties, recommendations and customer communications.
Property-owner responsibilities
Property owners remain responsible for information and photos they add, their decisions based on records, and access they grant to their property workspace.
Reports and public links
A Oikivo service record confirms that a service interaction was documented through the platform. It does not certify workmanship, legal compliance or professional quality. Public and shared links must not be used to expose information without authority.
Reviews and public content
Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Public display depends on product consent controls, and featured reviews remain identified as featured.
Documented job values
Values entered in service reports or Work Log are informational values recorded by the service business. They are not proof of payment, revenue, tax treatment, invoicing, profit or accounting accuracy.
Acceptable use
Users must not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or unnecessarily sensitive content; bypass controls; probe the service without permission; impersonate another person; or interfere with availability.
User content and licence
Users retain responsibility for their content and grant Oikivo the limited rights needed to host, process, secure, display and transmit it as directed by product features.
Oikivo intellectual property
The Oikivo software, design, trademarks and platform materials remain protected. These Terms do not transfer ownership of them.
Third-party services
Authentication, email, infrastructure and storage providers may have their own terms. Oikivo does not control third-party availability.
Availability and changes
The service may change, require maintenance or experience interruptions. Material changes will be communicated where reasonably required.
Pilot service
Pilot functionality may be incomplete or adjusted based on operational learning. Production-readiness controls do not eliminate all risk.
Suspension and termination
Access may be restricted for security, unlawful use, material breach or protection of users and the service.
Legal review: Final notice, cure, suspension and termination rules require legal approval.
Export and deletion
Available export and deletion options depend on account role, legal obligations, backups and data belonging to other parties. Requests must be verified.
Disclaimers
Records and reminders support documentation and workflow but do not replace professional judgment, inspections, statutory records or emergency services.
Legal review: Mandatory warranty and consumer disclaimers must be approved.
Limitation of liability
No final liability limitation is stated in this draft.
Legal review: Liability wording, caps and exclusions must be configured and approved for the operating entity and jurisdiction.
Consumer rights
Nothing in the approved Terms may remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Legal review: Mandatory consumer information and withdrawal rules must be confirmed.
Governing law and disputes
No final governing law, court or alternative-dispute mechanism is stated in this draft.
Legal review: Governing law, jurisdiction and mandatory dispute wording must be configured and approved.
Changes to the Terms
We may update the Terms as the service changes. The approved version will state when changes apply and how material changes are notified.
